Sunflower Studies

The Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony welcome the Mountain Ridge Wind Ensemble (Aaron Vogal, director) to campus to help open our season! We also welcome Nicole Piunno as Composer-In-Residence. Her residency will be highlighted by the Wind Ensemble giving the world premiere of her first symphony, Sunflower Studies. Other works by Bryant, Milburn and Vaughan Williams. Joining the Wind Symphony is Dr. Benjamin Lorenzo from Kent State University conducting a new piece La Silla by Juan Pablo Contreras.
